Greetings to you @steemGeography and @bright-obias ,thanks for organizing this interesting contest,and hello to my steemit friends in the house.

This content's focal point is about my locality,including things that piss me off about the area.

I live in Ojo LGA of Lagos State,precisely behind Divine Bus stop,Pako,Lagos.

At this point,i would like to share with you guys some amazing things that interest me in my locality,for example, my locality is a fast developing area where various businesses both large and small are beginning to thrive gradually,coupled with constant power supply and also security measures put in place such as the provision of estate security guards who are paid by the residents living in my locality to protect lives and properties at nights.

Besides,there are other amazing facts about my area that interest me which i would also want to share with all of you and they're itemized one after the other as follows:

1. There's a superb relaxation joint in my area known as Flex Bar,SPA,and Hotel,where various people both from my locality and beyond troop in and out daily for different purposes such as relaxation and refreshments,lodging,various transactions, ,etc.and of course the gradual development of my locality and it's present hustle and bustle can be rightly traced to the presence of this hotel.
   This Flex hotel which is in Ojo LGA, offers the following services such as swimming pool,night club,casino,wines and spirites,Bar,various events hall,WIFI internet,24/7hrs light,Atm services,maximum security.

Sometimes, after my busy day,i do hang out with my friends in this environment to cool off and have some refreshments,however,what i personally dislike about this place in question is the permissive life and lack of morals on the part of some individuals particularly the youths who visit the hotel,although it's a common thing that obtains in this kind of environment today.

Bar And Relaxation

2.For me, another amazing thing that interests me about my area are the 2 mini markets located within the environment here in OJO LGA, Lagos and they're wood (Pako)market and mechanic market where different foodstuffs are sold,these 2 markets are easily accessible.
In the case of the wood (Pako)market,where various building materials such as paints,nails,hammers,paint rollers etc are also being sold,it runs from Mondays - Sundays from 8:00 am-5:00pm,except on Thursdays when the market opens at 10:00am and runs through 5:00pm because of environmental sanitation. The traders in this market enjoy patronage from both customers from my locality and from those beyond, perhaps this could be as a result of it's popularity in the whole of my area generally.
Moreover,this wood market is always very busy except on Sundays when the size of the traders and customers are relatively few ,maybe due to some religious activities or other social engagements that hold on that day. This mini Pako market is amazing to me in the sense that it's a marketplace that you can virtually find anything you want pertaining to wood and building materials to buy,and at affordable prices.

Similarly,the Mechanic market where various food items and different types of fruits are sold also runs on the same days and at the same opening and closing time like the wood (Pako)market,except also on Thursdays when this market opens for transactions at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm due to environmental sanitation as well.
In this mini market,customers from within my locality and from neighboring areas come to buy foodstuffs such as garri,rice,beans,vegetables,meat,fish etc.
In fact,i like this particular mini market known as Mechanic market in Ojo LGA for the following 2 reasons:

• It's located in our area thus, it's nearness to my house is a big advantage, without the unnecessary stress involved in going farther to buy food items, and so for me it's amazing,yes that's where my wife and i also buy our foodstuffs given the fact that it's very close to us.
• The prices of food items in this market are a bit reasonable in comparison with other marketplaces around us.
  However,the only thing i dislike about the 2 above-mentioned mini markets is that they're a hide-out for hoodlums,hooligans and recalcitrants especially during the dark hours of the night when the markets have officially closed for the day.
