New Project: Introductory Post to Steem Geography: by @maris75

Hello to all my dear fellow steemians specially here in Steem Geography. I wish all are well. I'm Marissa Maquilang as @maris75, from Cebu, Philippines. Specifically, I live in the town of Cordova a small island which is part of Cebu province.

Things that I Love in our Place

I am a nature lover! What I liked most here in our place is that it's provincialism, we can breathe fresh air and the cool breeze from the ocean. Because it is a small island it is surrounded by many mangrove trees on the sea shore which I love most and many fresh fish and sea shells that we can get and eat. And if we want to swim in the beach we can do it at any time. It also has a large grocery where we can buy our needs. We also have a tourist attraction just near our place. And most of all our place is peaceful and convenient to live.

What I Love About Steemit?

I joined Steemit last April 2021. From then on, it changed my day to day routine. What i love most in joining steemit is that i discovered myself, my talent in telling stories and my experiences. It develop my skills in writing. Before I'm not used to share my stories to others, but because of steemit i was able to express myself, feelings, and emotions through writing, it feels great. Everyday I find ways and give time creating quality content here on Steem. I love and enjoy my journey in Steemit. I'm looking forward to be on top someday.

Why I Like Steem Geography Community?

I like Steem Geography Community because I'm interested in the topics which is about the earth, the environment and natural resources, the nature as a whole. I am a nature lover and I'm very much interested those aspects. I believe I can share more quality content in this community.

Below are the pictures of our nearby seashores. We can do our morning or afternoon walk or a jog here. Or just sitting down and feel the cool breeze from the sea. It so relaxing and stress relieving.

Every Sunday we go to church to attend Sunday mass. A prayer celebration in a Catholic Christian faith.
