New project: Introductory Post To Steem Geography Community By @goodybest
HELLO FRIENDS!
I trust everyone is great! As for me I'm super excited to be here and to introduce myself to you. Note I just found out about this amazing community yesterday and I subscribed to it without hesitation hope I'm welcome!
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Everyone have a name and that is what makes us unique. I was born into my lovely family 29 years ago and my belove parent give me a very unique and special name 👉 Goodnews, yes my name is Goodnews Noah Bassey.
My crony (alas hubby) used to call me Imaima-mi (my belove) my family members called me Mama, my friends nickname me goody but my Steemit username is @goodybest! Would you like to know why I choose that user- name @goodybest find out here I'm three months old in this great platform.
IN WHICH COUNTRY DO YOU LIVE?
Nigeria is my country and this is where I live. Nigeria is the giant of Africa and the most populous black nation with more than 180 million people. Nigeria became an independent nation in the year 1960 and it is a democratic nation, there are 36 States in Nigeria.
In Africa Nigeria is in number one largest producers of oil and gas and agriculture is the number one employment sector of Nigeria economy it's engage about 70% of the labour Force. We practice three difference kinds of religion in Nigeria which are Islamic, Christianity and traditional religion.
WHAT'S YOUR TOWN OR CITY?
Have you ever heard of the Land of promise before? the land where there are varieties of food ranging from edikang ikong soup to Ekpangnkukwo? Where strangers and visitors are warmly welcome, where there are so many tourist sites? That is where I come from yes Akwa Ibom State, indeed there is this popular slogan in my country "Akwa ibom Ayaiya meaning Akawibom is beautiful!
Yes we have so many beautiful tourist sites ranging from parks to 🏖️ Beach.
Akwa Ibom State is the largest oil producing State in Nigeria, we have three tribes in Akwa Ibom which is Ibibio Annang and Oron tribes, my tribe is Ibibio and I can speak Ibibio language fluently. Majority of akwa ibomite are Christians likewise myself, I live precisely in Uyo and this is where the capital of Akwa Ibom State is, Uyo is very beautiful and a peaceful place to live.
MENTION 3 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD OR THE PLACE YOU LIVE IN:
- Uyo is relatively peaceful to live in compared to the ongoing crisis and civil unrest in other places and states.
- all kinds of business is moving here so one can start (establish) any legal business and survive. Uyo is surely an amazing city, activity pack destination, filled with all sorts of activity for one's thrill.
- lastly I live in a central location so transportation is not an issue for me in fact I can even trek to so many places to do my shoppings and this has help me to remain active.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT STEEMIT?
I love the fact that steemit is a social media platform built on a decentralized blockchain technology, so there is no central authority no downtime ,and no 🚭 data abuse. it solves all the problem seen in a centralised social platform. I love steemit because it gives everyone the equal opportunity to enrich themselves, through owning this noble crypto currency. Lastly I so much love the fact that steem does not rely on mining to create new coins. yes I love steem!

WHY DO YOU LIKE STEEM GEOGRAPHIC COMMUNITY?
I love nature and natural environment and @steemgeography community deals with nature so this wonderful community will help me to appreciate nature the more.
This community will help me to get to know so many places in the world even when I don't pay a visit to this places.
I love this community because it will help me to be acquainted with other people's culture, their norms and customs, and I will also get to know other countries economy, social and political situation.
lastly I love this great community because it will help me create original contents since it deals with physical things that is accessible no matter where you are, I won't be searching the internet to find my photos or to fetch what to write about.

This is our place of worship, and I so much love this place because this is where I normally feed spiritually. My parent used to take me to the kingdom Halls from infancy so you can see why I'm so attached to this place

I love this place because it a first class Multi-billion mall where you can buy anything you want and at very affordable prices.

I love this place because this is where Ibibio history and legacy lives, moreover there's a wide open field surrounded the environment and one can relax there and even meditate.
