Rihanna may have achieved hits from her previous two albums but her third album "Good Girl Gone Bad" became the record which made her a superstar through its lead single "Umbrella" featuring rapper Jay Z. The song was a worldwide number 1 hit, including Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed at the top spot for 7 weeks with equivalent sales at around 12 million stateside. In UK, the song was number 1 for 10 weeks, and was certified 4x platinum.
