Music Daily: Kanye West - Through the Wire
Kanye West finally released his first ever single as the lead artist with the song "Through the Wire" which became know for its interpolation of the song "Through the Fire" by Chaka Khan. The song was part of Kanye's hit debut album "The College Dropout". "Through the Wire" has peaked at number 15 in Billboard Hot 100, and number 9 I'm UK Singles chart, and had went platinum in both.
