After the success of his song "Best I Ever Had", Drake released "Successful, a collaboration with Trey Songz, and part of his mixtape "So Far Gone", and also added to Songz's album "Ready". The song also featured rapper Lil Wayne. The hip-hop track with alternative R&B elements became a number 17 hit on Billboard Hot 100. It became a number 3 hit on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 2 on Hot Rap Songs.
