After the success of her album "My Everything" and its singles, Ariana Grande released the song "Focus" supposedly for a new album, but eventually became a standalone single. However, it was added as a bonus track for the new album in Japan. "Focus" has similarities with her song "Problem", but the latter has better tune. It became a number 7 hit in Billboard Hot 100, while it became a 2x platinum hit in the US. It was a number 10 hit in UK, where it was a Gold record.
