✅ What do you think journalism in a country should look like and how much of it has been observed in your country?

Journalism in our country should be completely impartial and based on true news that all journalists in this field should give completely true news. That they have verified the news through various resources and not spread false news. They should be free from the pressure of the administrators of the country .

In journalism in any country, all journalists should show both sides of any story, even if it is against a major figure. But they should tell stories and news based on truth so that people are not misled and do not get hurt by these news. All journalists should spread news based on national interest instead of personal interest and everyone should make all their analysis neutral and not take the side of any particular party, class or personality.

All investigative reporting in the field of journalism must be based on the absolute truth. They should not include false data, but which should be based on facts, so that people can be well aware of the economic and other conditions of their country.

In my country Pakistan, all these qualities or reality are mostly not found in most journalistic institutions. Here, journalists also represent some particular party or some particular class and talk only about them . And others demean the class or party and describe their evils. In the interest of most of the public, news is rarely reported and data related to the economic situation is often misrepresented and the public is misled.

✅ Do you believe that all the news you are seeing today's time contains honesty and accurate information? What is the reason for believing or not?

I believe that some of the news given on new channels in our country are true and some are lies. The news which are related to accidents or internal affairs are told on the basis of truth but some facts are also hidden from the public.

But those news which are related to foreign relations or because of which the economic pressure on our country may increase or it may face external threats, then such news are not shown on new channels.It is hidden due to which the people stay away from the reality of these matters and cannot get knowledge about it.

Some news channels also give some news to increase their ratings, due to which their ratings also increase and the public is also surprised and attracted to this news, but later it is known that this news was fake and had nothing to do with reality.

Today in our country more and more new channels are being created and all people are busy making their own money and they are not concerned with public interest or spreading true news. They just want their ratings to increase, even if they have to give false news for that. That's why they often give fake news to increase their ratings and earn more money from it.

✅ Has there been any change between the journalism of your country in the past and the present time? Has it had a positive or negative impact?

In the past, there was only one news channel in Pakistan, which was a state-owned channel. This channel solely focused on reporting about the current government in power, highlighting the government's activities and emphasizing their positive aspects. However, if the government was performing poorly in any sector or if any project was not running successfully, the channel would not report on it. Additionally, it did not analyze the performance of previous governments.

Nowadays, there are numerous news channels, and they comprehensively analyze the ongoing projects of the current government. These channels discuss both the strengths and weaknesses of the government's actions, providing suggestions on how to improve and also encouraging successful initiatives.

It has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that the public can now stay informed about every sector and the state of affairs from both previous and current governments in this modern era. However, the negative impact is that with the increase in the number of news channels, a lot of misleading news is spread, which harms the public and leads them astray.
