How are you all? Hope everyone is well.Alhamdulillah I am fine as well.Today I will discuss with you the method of eggplant cultivation. I will show you step by step how to grow eggplant in a simple way and make a profit. Hope you will benefit from it.

Suitable time to plant eggplant seedlings:-

Eggplant is basically a winter vegetable due to which it is mostly winter. But other times eggplant can be cultivated. To grow brinjal, we have to make a seed bed and sow the seeds there, then after 10-12 days after the plant grows, we have to pick the seedlings and plant them in the second seed bed or in the main land.I am mentioning few varieties of brinjal which give best quantity of crop during winter season. Hope you will get good results if you plant this variety of brinjal.

• Bari-1 to Bari 12. All varieties are good. But cultivate those eggplants that are in high demand in your area. Cultivation of hybrid brinjal Bari-12 in urban areas can be profitable. I would suggest them to plant tissue culture seedlings if they are not transplanted in seed bed.

Fertilizer management method of eggplant:-

For brinjal cultivation first I would suggest to apply organic fertilizers to the land. Organic fertilizers increase the fertility power of our land. Application of 15-20 tons of dung fertilizer per hectare is good for land.Chemical fertilizers should be applied along with organic fertilizers. Application of chemical fertilizers will increase crop yield and eliminate disease.Amount of chemical fertilizers for brinjal cultivation per hectare.

• Nitrogen- 400 kg

• MOP-(Muriate of Potassium): 350 kg

• DAP-(Di-ammonium Phosphate): 120 kg

• TSP ( Triple Superphosphate): 140 kg

• Karbofuran : 18 kg ( Once at planting time.)

Irrigation and Fertilizer Pesticide Management:-

60 days after planting, the plant will start bearing eggplant. So we have to finish all manure management before 60 days.After planting seedlings, water should be irrigated within eight to ten days according to the soil's fertility. This will increase the fertility of the land. This will result in disease-free and vigorous seedlings growing into large trees.

• First spray should be done within 7-10 days after planting. Because there is a lot of insect infestation during this time. (Abamectin benzoate and imidacloprid. 1 gram per liter should be sprayed.)

• When spraying for the second time, we must note that we must refrain from spraying when the plant has flowers. Spraying destroys the flowers of the plant. (Special Note: Spraying after 5 PM can be done with machine nozzle upwards if critical.)

We must increase the amount of pesticides if we see a lot of pucker acromon. Then we have to spray: Cartop+acetamiprid and chlorantraniliprole) at the rate of 1 gram per liter. There will be no insects in the land.

• We have to apply the third spray once after collecting the eggplant from the field or 7 to 10 days before harvesting the eggplant. This will keep the eggplant fresh and prevent any insect attack. If there are a lot of insects in brinjal or if insects are seen in the branches, we have to change the group and apply a slightly different group by spraying in the field. Example:- Phenproperthin+pyriproxyfen and carbasulfan. These pesticides should be given at 1 gram per liter. (Special Note:- If you see insects in the fruit foam or if you fail to make a decision, please send me the photo of the insect and I will advise you accordingly.)

Harvesting and subsequent operations:-

A good quality hormone spray must be applied if the number of flowers on the plant is low after harvesting the eggplant. This will increase the number of flowers on the tree. The coin that increases the number of flowers in plants is the name of the group of hormones: naphthyl acetic acid, amino acid, tricontrolane, nitrobenzene. Then the insect should be sprayed using insecticides as in steps 2 and 3. By following these rules you can easily farm and earn a lot of money.
