SEC S11W4: Mi bandera, Mi cocina / My Flag, My Kitchen

I hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing and creative contest SEC S11W4: Mi bandera, Mi cocina / My Flag, My Kitchen. I love creative contests and I always try to participate. For today's contest I'm making a dessert and decorating it looks like my country flag. I'm sure you like it. Let's move on to the contest.
Create the flag of your country with elements and/or food present in your kitchen:
My country flag is green and white in 3 :1 proportion with c crescent moon and a star. For making my country flag I'm using green jelly and white custard. My dessert is a simple custard decorated with green jelly.
Let's start today's recipe.
Preparation Of Flag
Ingredients
1- Milk-2cup
2- sugar as per taste
3- Jelly green packet
4-coconut powder for garnishing
5- vanilla essence drop
6- Cornflour -2tbsp
Making
- Take 2 cups of milk in a pan and boil it.
- Add sugar according to your taste to milk and cook it until it dissolve
Make a paste of 2tbsp of corn flour in half cup of milk nicely.
Add this mixture slowlyin boiled milk to avoid lumps of cornflour.
keep staring and cook it until the mixture become thick and smooth.
Dish out this mixture in a flat pan and let it cool and settle.
Now make jelly buy adding jelly powder in 2 cups of hot water. Cook it for 3min until all powder dissolve nicely.
Pour jelly mixture over custard and let it settles and cool.

- I make crescent moon and star on a card board and cut it to make it stencil.
- By using stencil I spread coconut powder on jelly and make crescent moon and star. One third portion of flag is white so spread coconut powder as in my flag.
2- What do you think of cooking challenges? Are they to your liking?
I like cooking challenges. I tried many very difficult recipes the first time, but always the result was very good. Some times I face failure too, but most of the time I succeed. Like every job, cooking requires love, interest, concentration, time management, etc. By following the steps of recipes with care, you get good results.
When you try something new for your family with love, you always get appreciation as a result. My family loves my cooking, which motivates me to take cooking challenges.
3- Do you think it is worth investing Steem to create this type of content?
If I honestly answer, my answer is no. When we create any special recipe for the contest at Steemit, we always need to buy many products that are not available at home, which affects my daily budget. Votes are not guaranteed for everyone, so many times the cost you put into making a post recipe would not come out. As I said, I'm a cooking lover, so I don't think it's for voting; it's for my family. When I'm rewarded, I become more happy.
4- Do you have any anecdote that happened in the process of creating your flag?
Yes, it happens. When I spread coconut oil, I forgot to use a stainer. I was making flags for the first time, so I didn't have any idea that due to moisture in dessert, the powder would be wet and lose its white colour. When I made Star and Moon, it was very beautiful, but I kept it just for one minute just to bring my phone from the room. It became wet, and when I sprinkled again over it, it took the shape of a star destroyer.

You made a delicious dessert of Pakistan flag. It looks very attractive and delicious. Your Creativity is extra ordinary. I totally agreed with you that food post are for fun if you get reward it would be more fun. Yes coconut powered absorb moisture and wet powder lost its white color. But you did an excellent job.
