What do you think about the death penalty, do you agree or disagree? Explain why?

I totally agree about the death penalty because death revenge should be death; if a person kills anyone, he should be given the death penalty. Because if we do not give death to the accused, then he will participate in even more evil deeds and try to harm peaceful people.

Also, I agree for the death penalty, because when a person is given the death penalty, others will learn from that, which has helped to overcome many evils in the society. I agree with it because our religion also says that the revenge of death should be death.

If a member of one's family is killed and the accused is released by the judiciary, it will be a great injustice to the family members of the deceased, so the death penalty should be given to the accused. Because this is the only way to get justice.

Every person's life is very precious in this world, and if a person kills someone, then the accused's life should be taken in return, so I totally agree with the death penalty system, and it is a very good step. This step helps many people get justice.

Is this type of penalty part of the law in your country? Do you think it should be implemented?

Islamic law has been in practise in Pakistan for a long time, and the punishment for a killer in Pakistan is only death, which has been part of the law of Pakistan for a long time. Hundreds of people are executed in Pakistan every year due to their bad deeds.

In Pakistan, whoever is found guilty of murdering a person is immediately executed. Because any country without justice can never develop, and in Pakistan, it is a very good system that gives justice to poor people.

This law should be implemented in every country; if it is not implemented, then it will increase the evil in society. Therefore, if we want to build a good and just society, the implementation of the death penalty law is very important.

Do you know of any particular case of death penalty in your country or any other country? Can you share it?

Yes, I know of many cases where people killed poor people and later police caught and hanged the accused. This is not so old. A few months ago, a rich man killed two widows in our area due to a personal grudge, and there was a lot of panic in our area.

This cruel person beat these widows very mercilessly and shot six to seven bullets into their bodies with a pistol, due to which they died on the spot. The police reached there immediately and took action, and the DPO (district police officer) of our area also took notice of this.

The DPO ordered to arrest the accused within three days, and the police youth, with great bravery, found the accused within one day only and locked him in jail. Then the accused was taken to court, where he was found guilty by all the witnesses and evidence.

After finding him guilty, the judge sentenced the criminal to death, and the accused was executed. Everyone was very happy because the poor widows got justice. I know of many other such incidents, but this was one that I witnessed with my own eyes.
