Islamic law has been in practise in Pakistan for a long time, and the punishment for a killer in Pakistan is only death, which has been part of the law of Pakistan for a long time. Hundreds of people are executed in Pakistan every year due to their bad deeds.

You're right the punishment for a killer is death and In pakistan Islamic Law are applicable but the ratio of death penalty is very low. About 4 to 5 persons were hanged last year.
