What proposal would you have for the Steemit Blog team?

I propose the introduction of an innovative initiative called Skill Mastery Quest within the Steemit Blog team. My central concept highlights the importance of users' personal growth through the acquisition of new skills and the mastery of existing ones. “Skill Mastery Quest” aims to transform the experience on Steemit into a continuous learning journey, offering users the opportunity to choose from a diverse catalog of skills. By putting the user at the heart of this initiative, we not only encourage diversity of interests within the community, but we also create a platform that goes beyond simply publishing content, providing a dynamic and educational environment.

In detail, Skill Mastery Quest could result in the creation of a catalog of varied skills, ranging from writing to programming, offering users the possibility of selecting a skill to develop. By collaborating with community experts, we could set up free courses and tutorials to support this learning. Monthly challenges to test mastery of newly acquired skills could be launched, encouraging users to share their progress and creations. By also integrating mastery badges, we could publicly recognize acquired skills, offering users the opportunity to earn “Mastery Tokens” redeemable for benefits on the platform.

In this sense, I want to position Skill Mastery Quest as a central pillar for the Steemit community, encouraging users to pursue continuous learning, share knowledge and inspire each other, while enriching the platform's ecosystem .

Break down in detail what that new dynamic would consist of? What would you call it?

Skills Catalog:

I recommend creating a catalog of diverse skills that encompasses diverse areas such as writing, photography, programming, and marketing. Users would then be able to choose a skill to develop during my “Skill Mastery Quest”. The underlying idea is to encourage diversity of interests within the community, allowing everyone to personalize their learning journey according to their personal aspirations.

Courses and Tutorials:

My suggestion would be to collaborate directly with experts within the community to create free courses and tutorials related to the skills offered. I aim to offer users quality educational resources, while promoting a community approach in the transmission of knowledge. By taking these courses, users could tangibly improve their skills, thereby stimulating a hands-on and interactive learning experience.

Mastery Challenges:

I recommend launching monthly challenges to assess mastery of newly acquired skills. This approach would provide a concrete opportunity for me and the other participants to put their knowledge into practice, thus strengthening our self-confidence. Encouraging us to share our progress and creations related to the chosen skill would help create a collaborative atmosphere within the community, thus promoting mutual inspiration.

Mastery Badges:

I am considering introducing a mastery badge system that would recognize and publicly display the skills users have acquired. These badges, obtained throughout my journey in the “Skill Mastery Quest”, would constitute a source of pride and personal accomplishment. By earning “Mastery Tokens” through obtaining badges, I would also have the opportunity to exchange them for exclusive benefits on the platform, thus creating a tangible incentive to persevere in my learning.

How would communities and large curator accounts participate? All the details you can add.

I suggest that communities, of which I could be a part, create spaces dedicated to each skill in order to promote collaboration and collective learning. By integrating these specialized spaces, I could interact with other members sharing the same interests, exchanging advice and ideas to enrich my experience in the “Skill Mastery Quest”. At the same time, I propose that the communities most active in promoting learning, of which I could be an integral part, benefit from special recognition. This would create a sense of collective accomplishment and encourage positive emulation within the community.

Also, I suggest allocating part of the curation power of key accounts to support content related to mastery challenges. By being part of this initiative, I would help highlight the achievements of users engaged in learning and increase the visibility of their progress. As a curator, I could positively influence the promotion of quality content, thus encouraging a dynamic learning atmosphere. Additionally, I propose that it is wise to encourage participation by offering special rewards to users who, like me, achieve high levels of mastery. These rewards could boost engagement and recognize community members' dedication to cultivating their skills.

By uniting the efforts of communities and Key Account Curators as part of the “Skill Mastery Quest”, the ultimate goal is to establish a culture of continuous learning on Steemit. As an active participant, I would contribute to this culture by developing my skills, sharing my knowledge, and inspiring others in the community to pursue their own learning journey.

Thank you very much for reading, it's time to invite my friends @pelon53, @nahela, @steemdoctor1 to participate in this contest.

Best Regards,

These are all great ideas...

I think one of the reasons the community project was introduced some years back was to foster ideas like this.

Unfortunately, apart from the few communities that stick to their vision and purposes, 90% of the communities are doing one and the same thing, thereby diverting from their main purpose and vision.

Some years back there use to be a community that deals mainly on skills and training users on various skills..., but it later dissappeared into the air.

It might be interesting to see how your fine idea develope into reality.

Thanks for your positive response! I share your feelings about the initial purpose of community projects. It is unfortunate that some societies have deviated from their original vision. I'm committed to keeping my idea focused on skills and training, and I appreciate your encouragement. Let's work on turning this idea into reality!

I have read all the suggestions on all the enteries as far as this contest is concern.

But the one that caught my attention was yours and that's why I made that response, I couldn't just avoid it.

Maybe to develop the idea, a test course could be developed - for example 'Introduction to the use of Spreadsheets for Small Businesses'...ref.

This suggestion could be a very good start. It would even help most curators. I discovered that a lot of curators are still having issues on how to use the spreadsheet while filling out their voted posts.

So, this could be a course for most curators.

A very interesting idea.

As a teacher by profession, and as a Crypto Academy Professor, you would be well placed to develop this concept.

There certainly would be challenges such as finding tutors of high enough quality, and avoidance of abuse (AI, plagiarism etc) but this idea could certainly add great value to the Steem blockchain.

Maybe to develop the idea, a test course could be developed - for example 'Introduction to the use of Spreadsheets for Small Businesses'...

Thank you for recognizing the potential of the idea. As a teacher and Crypto Academy Professor, I am enthusiastic about initiating this project. To address challenges such as tutor quality and abuse prevention, I propose a thorough vetting process for tutors, using payable AI tools for plagiarism detection, and fostering a strong community reporting system. Your suggestion for a test course, 'Introduction to the use of Spreadsheets for Small Businesses,' aligns well with the project's goals. I am committed to leveraging my teaching experience and expertise to ensure the success and integrity of this educational initiative on the Steem blockchain. I look forward to bringing this idea to fruition.

Greetings Mr Steemcurator01.

Interesting proposal from friend @kouba01, and also from you. Spreadsheet management can be of great interest and usefulness for many users. I would be available to generate content and tasks on this topic.

The teacher has spoken... ;-)) I would support your idea!

hahaha.. everyone defend his domain my dear...Thank you so much! Your support means a lot to me. I'm glad the idea resonates with you.

Hello friend @kouba01, it would be interesting to find an application within the Steemit network where we can search for a course that we would like to take and that is taught by the professionals who are on Steemit.

Those professionals who teach the workshops could receive payment for the course they design.

Absolutely! That's a fantastic idea. A dedicated application for finding and taking courses within the Steemit network, taught by professionals, would be a valuable addition. Great suggestion!

Hi,
As you mentioned in your response to weisser-rabe, safeguarding your domain is crucial, and rightfully so.

The introduction of the "Skill Mastery Quest" is a novel approach, promising personal growth within a structured learning community. The comprehensive plan, spanning from the Skills Catalog to Mastery Badges, demonstrates a well-thought-out strategy for diverse skill development.

Adding some fun elements to the learning experience can enhance the overall enjoyment, especially considering that Steemit is more of a hobby and a fun platform for many. Your proposal has the potential to blend these elements together.

I believe one can consider all the possibilities and options presented by the contestants in this ongoing challenge.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! We're thrilled that you see the value in our "Skill Mastery Quest" and appreciate the strategic elements we've incorporated, from the Skills Catalog to Mastery Badges. We're committed to making learning enjoyable and blending it seamlessly with the Steemit experience!

I so much like this idea, your proposal is topnotch, I also have some suggestions that came to mind.

I was thinking If great and genuine teachers are available in other skills that could even offer qualified certificates to graduating students of each skills, it will be great too. Then this certificates could be sent to users mails at the end of some skills and maybe a test to determine if the user really understands the particular skills.

It could have a particular session and people registered and consistently participate in the skills for some certain periods then graduate with certificates.

I recommend creating a catalog of diverse skills that encompasses diverse areas such as writing, photography, programming, and marketing.

I also suggest art and some health courses too.

I wish you success in this proposal

My friend, what a broad vision you have.

This would be the coolest and most fabulous way to share learn and encourage the growth of the platform, especially if we learn and teach programming skills that then allow us to become developers for Steem, I think this is exactly what we need and I admire your point of view very much.

Thank you, friend!
