Lo bueno y lo malo de Steemit :ENG

Today I am here to discuss about the good and the bad of Steemit, so let me tell you a story before I tell you what I feel about steemit as a 5 months old member on this site.

A person, while looking at the sea, said, "Ocean, you are huge, you have immense gems inside you, but your water is very salty." Then he told the moon, "The stain inside you makes you look ugly." He said to a rose, "Your thorns make you untouchable." As he moved ahead, a saint told him, "Oh, as a man, you are very good, but if you did not have the habit of seeing faults in others, then you would be even better."

I don't remember who told me this or a similar story but I know it from my childhood and believe that finding fault in others is not a good habit. unless of course, it helps someone.

Here, you're asking me to see what we could tell you to improve Steemit. I know you guys are senior and talented but I will tell you about how I feel in my own way of writing.

Probably discussing about Steemit is the same as any other website that pays you money for your work. I do not know on which other website you work, but I know that there is no such website that does not have some pros and cons, but if the website is not rigid and rectifies its flaws, then there is no issue whatsoever.

I definitely have a few ideas for the benefit of this beautiful website which I would love to share with you all. If, however, you wish to avoid them then it makes no difference. If you know the advantages and disadvantages of my suggestions it would do a great help to everyone, old and new alike.

I appreciate Steemit, but I think, there should be tabs that keep you connected with your friends and followers, with proper notification for each of them, i.e., a notification of our activities coming to a notification tab. sort of notification so we can find out what our connections are doing on this platform. What they are posting or commenting on ours and others' posts.

Notification
I am not a critic, since this website has been working continuously for years and pays its members. It might have some shortcomings, but we have to cope with them and work for its improvement.

We should devote our time to creative work and not spend the whole day posting an article.

Let us create an editor on this site that is complete in itself, and you do not need to spend your whole day posting an article. Under the current scenario, it takes longer to post an article than to write it.

Our priority should be providing quality content on this site, not how we post it. Can't we use an editor like WordPress or Joomla here to make life easier for the content creators?

Let me give you a few examples, for instance, WordPress or my preferred editor, Joomla. In case I have to place a flower image anywhere in my text, I can do it with a click rather than writing HTML codes for this simple procedure.

But first thing first

I think first of all we have to bring those people from all over the world who have been addicted to their phones and are thriving to do something positive.

But when they come here, some of their motivation is lost. I also feel that today's big tech companies have learned, with the help of their fast-paced algorithms, that in order to keep their members engaged and get the best out of them, they have to engage in creative work that is best for them.

I would like to say with apologies that we definitely have to be a little more creative because if our storytelling ability gets lost in tasks which are not so productive, then many people who know a lot on various other subjects will not get a chance to showcase their skills.

What does it take to keep a young man glued to his phone for eight hours a day? Today, the youth of the world are consuming cheap data on unproductive activities, while there is so much to do in life.

In this context, Steemit is giving you an opportunity in which you can work and learn some really great things during this time. You will get money, and you can also build your reputation and career as a writer. Here comes the question: Are we giving them enough opportunities?

At the same time, it is not true that this website is completely perfect, because nothing in the world is perfect. But we need to know where we fall short and what we can do to improve it.

Steemit is a blockchain platform that has unlimited resources, so the work is not easy for a layman. Therefore, it is important to create tabs that helps and make task easy for the members. We should make a notification exchange tab that keeps our connections in touch with proper notifications to each other.

However Steemit Is Not Santa Claus

We know that Steemit is a great website, and we love it, but we also know that Steemit is not Santa Claus, who will give us whatever gifts we want. Perhaps we expect a little too much, but due to the mismatch of expectations, we feel disappointed. If a new member is really working hard, the curators should be a little more generous. That should go a long way toward keeping our members' databases busy overnight.

We can plan well for Steemit. Life is hard, and nothing is guaranteed here. Your very good work can go in vain, and an ordinary work can get good votes. In such a situation, it will not be redundant to expect some compensation. The need is that our hard and quality work doesn't go in vain.

  

We Must Do It Together

So what I mean is that even if there is no Santa Claus, to maintain the morale of our new members, we have to create such communities that guide the new members, prepare them, and keep them connected. Of course, quality should be the primary criterion.
