Steemit Engagement Challenge Season5 Week2 : My Medical Experiences
It doesn't feel like Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 5 has entered its second week. As in the previous Challenge, I participated in the Challenge and on this occasion I would like to participate in the Challenge held by the community Colombia-Origina and the original post of the challenge can be seen here Steemit Engagement Challenge Season5 Week2 : My medical experiences / Mis vivencias médicas.
Usually I will be afraid when I have never tried it, once I try and feel comfortable I will actually get used to it. When I was a child, I was afraid of syringes. With the name alone, I'm afraid let alone feel the needle enter the body. Once upon a time, when I was about to get an injection, I ran away and didn't go home at that time.
But it was different when I was an adult, instead I invited other people to receive a syringe. This means that I am currently inviting other people to donate their blood. In fact, the size of the syringe for injecting drugs with a blood transfusion syringe is different. The size of the syringe for blood transfusion is larger than that of an ordinary syringe.
If I'm afraid of needles, it's impossible, because I've donated blood for the 48th time. Indeed, at first when imagining blood donors I felt panicked, after I finished donating blood, I actually felt comfortable. In fact, I feel very comfortable after donating blood and when it's time to donate blood again, then I will again receive a syringe to donate blood.
Until now I have not been afraid of specialist doctors. What should be feared from them, in fact their work is very noble by helping treatment for others. We can freely consult with them about the disease we are experiencing. And of course they will try to provide consultation data or the best solution for the disease that is suffering from the patient.
About 1 year ago I regularly consulted with an oral and dental surgeon, where the doctor said I had Torus Palatinus disease. Torus Palatinus is a disease or lump in the jaw of the mouth. After consulting with a specialist for several months and taking the medicine given, I finally had to perform surgery on the disease I was experiencing.
If I don't have surgery, then the disease will get bigger and possibly will get worse in the future. The best solution at that time was to remove the disease by means of surgery.
For medical experiences, whether it's fun, painful, funny and uncomfortable, I don't think I have any. Because the medical services I get are still within reasonable limits. There's nothing weird I'm dealing with or anything uncomfortable about. It's just that when the nurse wants to give medicine by injecting it into the IV needle, then I will feel pain, but the pain I experienced was not severe. Only feel pain when the injected drug flows into the IV line. Of course, this is still within reasonable limits.
In fact, I give my appreciation for the treatment and the doctors who want to hear the ravings of the patients they are dealing with. Because not all patients are the same, the more patients there are, the more oddities you have to deal with. But doctors and patients still have to adapt to these oddities.
I experienced medical trauma as a child, where when I wanted to have an immunization injection I ran and instead I would not go home until the medical nurse and doctor came home first. For other medical trauma, when I broke a bone in my right arm and when I was taken to the hospital and the nurse wanted to hold my arm, I kicked, scolded and spat at them. From that incident to needles and medical treatment, I didn't want to do it, because I was still traumatized by what I was going through.
Over time and slowly I get enlightenment about medical science, so I have changed completely. In fact, at this time I invite and enlighten others to want to donate blood and tell them the benefits we get after donating blood.
As I've discussed, I've had an accident due to my own carelessness. Due to carelessness and carelessness when playing as a child, I had to fracture a bone in my right arm, so I had to get serious medical attention.
When I was an adult and 1 year ago, when I had Torus palatinus disease for me it was a serious illness that I felt. Because I've never experienced this kind of illness before and whenever I get sick it's just a fever, runny nose, cough. While the torus palatinus is a disease that requires surgery. So I take this disease very seriously.

Hello friend, so you escaped to avoid being injected?, but that did not bring consequences to your health?
Have you donated blood 48 times? I am also a blood donor but I have only done it 5 times in my life, what is quite true is that it is an admirable job, there are many lives that you have saved.
I'm glad to know that within normal you are a healthy man :)
Thank you for participating in our challenge, remember to actively comment and vote on the publications of other participating partners.
Thanks for the verification and comment @nahela.
Yes, it's true that I ran away when I was about to be injected when I was little. I have donated blood 48 times and I will continue to donate blood. By donating blood, I have helped others. You will be able to reach blood donors again.

It's amazing you have donated blood that much, you're a hero in my case. Because the blood would be used to save a life. You're quite brave too to do it that number of times, some of us can't even do it because of the size of the needle. Nice write up, thank you for sharing.
I wish you the best of luck sir.
I will continue to donate when the time comes again. I am happy when I donate blood.
Hola amigo!!
You're not the only one that is afraid of syringes, even I myself. I am also afraid of taking injections, but today I have no choice but to accept it with boldness if the need arises. You have shared a nice post with us. Best of luck to you.
After I grew up I was not afraid of needles anymore. Only when I was little I was afraid of needles.

Saludos y bendiciones
How good you have overcome the fear of needles and it is a beautiful and laudable job to donate blood in order to help other people who need it.
Very good and after a year the disease of Torus palatinus overcame that disease
and is in the past.
