When I Was A Kid...
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” ― Albert Einstein
Scientist: "The earth is round."
Student: "No, the earth is flat!"
Scientist: "Who told you that?"
Student: "Santa!"
Student, To Friend: "Is science a conspiracy? To hide what happened to Nebuchadnezzar ― the king who shapeshifted into an animal ― and other werewolves?"
Friend: "Of course, it is. The secret keepers conspired to hide the shapeshifting possibilities from you and me. "
Neighbor: "I want you to know things; I can't however tell you all the things... Because I don't have all the words as most words had been lost during the collapse of the tower of Babel..."
"On language, I must tell you that our present language has lost its magical power; in times past, however, the mere utterances from the lips could move mountains or roll the tombstone away from the mouth of the cave. Today, we need the help of computers, and we can at best open the gate or do certain things using our voice as computer commands..."
"Voice commands used to work without computers because of the superior ancient world's intimacy with the divine: the matrix we now live in is however a poor imitation of that of the ancient matrix. "
"Indeed, the mankind's greatest leaps and advancements had been made only when the natural law had been broken: walking on the water... and water turning into wine... began with the virgin birth. "
"Science blinded us from the enchanted moments-giving ancient matrix. And science has hidden from us the fact that... Nebuchadnezzar shapeshifted into a "lower" animal while Christ, at the transfiguration, shapeshifted into a "higher," angelic being. That contrast is the origin of the phrase, "When they go low, we go high." "
Student: "What joy life would be had it not been for science and its conspiracy against magic?"
Scientist: "Now, nobody can turn water into wine."
Student: "Can we at least walk on water, please?"
