Dugouts in Biryakovo

in CCS23 hours ago

Biryakovo is a village in the Sokolsky District of the Vologda Region and the administrative center of the Biryakovsky rural settlement. It is located south of the A123 highway. The distance to the district center of Sokol by road is about 100 km, and Vologda is another 35 km away.

There are several locations of cellar clusters in Biryakovo, but I only went to one place where there are the most of them.

This is a classic orderly cellar town, where the dugouts stand in two rows, and a passage is made between them.

The cellar town consists of vegetable storages of a buried type, mainly with gable roofs.

Unfortunately, only a couple of cellars out of two dozen are used..

As usual, I took pictures from all sides and also made general views of the town, but in the post I decided to place only single "portraits" of the cellars.

It turned out to be something deadpan, although almost all the pictures with the cellars were always designed in that style (which I learned about much later than I started shooting the cellars).

Once again, my answer to the question "why do I photograph dugouts at night" is confirmed....because it's boring in the daylight.

No natural phenomenon, no weather condition will surpass the atmosphere of the night!

But already the night can be different, where there are more suitable weather conditions.

But even the brightest sunset or sunrise with fog or colored sky will be worse than the most boring night.

I'm not sure if I'll come here to shoot them at night...especially considering the fuel situation (although I have diesel, it's a little easier for me).

But in general, I will not stop capturing dugouts, as long as they are at least in our region.
