My Weekly Powerup | #club100 | Black & white photography in the historical town of Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay) | #steemexclusive / 4 photos

Recently when I was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I also made sure to have a couple of days going to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. It's only 50 kilometers and a one hour and fifteen minutes boat trip away from Buenos Aires. It's located by Río de la Plata. It's rather small, but one of the oldest cities in the country.

The photos I have chosen to show in black and white were taken in the historical quarter. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with lots of old buildings and cobbled streets. We are walking along the seaside on our way to the old port, when we stop by the fence. Locals are swimming here on the beach. Notice the small "black" persons between the bars. This is the western side where the sun sets. Many people were here to swim, walk along the sea side or sit in a cafe.
