Hello All.

Welcome to my weekly Food Photography Challenge Post, a regular contest held by Camping Club Steemit. This post is my entry for Week #37 and for this entry I have set BAKSO as my theme

Bakso or Mie Bakso is a traditional Indonesian Street Food. It is an adaptation from Chinese Food, Bak - So which means pork meat, however most Bakso sold in Indonesia is Halal, no pork and lard in the dish. It is adapted as a Muslim food, so they replace the pork with cow or chicken meat.

Nowadays people using Bakso as a local vocabulary for meatball. So anything from meat with ball shape, will be called Bakso.

The popular presentation of Bakso is the same of Ramen. some noodles with some veggie and rice vermicelli, then they replace all meat and egg with Bakso. Some people prefer to eat the meatballs only, without any noodles, vermicelli, veggie or anything else... Just meatball and soup.

And as time progress with the adaptation of new trends, people have made many variation in Bakso. From the shape, the size, the taste, how it cooks and may more. My entry today is Bakso Telur, which Telur is an Egg in Bahasa Indonesia.

You see, if you cut that big meatball (Bakso), we have a boiled egg inside. This is what is called as Bakso Telur, when you insert or make a whole egg inside the Bakso. Interesting isn't it. If you haven't tried it, I hope you will get some opportunity to try this one soon.
