Food Photography Challenge - Week 37 | Indonesian Street Style Porridge

Hello All.

Welcome to my Food Photography Challenge Post, a regular contest held by . This is my #37 entry and my entry today is about a Porridge

I do not know the correct naming for this porridge, I call it Indonesian Street Style Porridge, because you can find them on street stall or some food cart. This porridge usually comes with some mix on top of the porridge, added by some brooth. Mostly they are shredded chicken and some cracked crackers.

Some people, such as me, like to add some side dish. My pick today is Gizzard. Most people go with boiled Quail eggs, but I prefer Gizzard or chicken intestine because they will enrich the porridge texture.

This is how it looks from above. Most people will add some sweet soy sauce to make this porridge more sweet, and some other prefer to add chili sauce or hot peppers. It's up to everyone preferences.
