Food Diary #001 | Batagor
Hello all
Regarding our beloved weekly CCS Food Photography Challenge is a bit laggy, I have decided to make my own post about my Foodie things. This will be a daily update about food I get everyday, so sometime it will look great, but sometime it will look ordinary.
Today my lunch is Batagor, it stands from Baso Tahu Goreng. It is a sundanese dish from Indonesia and quite popular here. Baso is meatball, Tahu is tofu, so basically its name is describing what the dish it is, A fried Meatball and tofu. The actual dish is a deep fried dimsum, mostly Wonton and fish cake, served with served with peanut sauce.
Above is the deep fried Wonton and the right part is the deep fried fish cake.
They are just freshly fried, so they are still warm and this is important because once it's get cold, the taste will not be as good as when it is warm.
And here is my order. I have two non fried one, the white tofu and boild bitter melon. Some Batagor stall sells steam and boiled dimsum, although this is not common.
Ok that's all for my Food Diary today. I hope you like it and please feel free to leave any comments below. Thank you for visiting my post and special thanks to @theentertainer and @visionaer3003 who have been managing our community very well, The Camping Club Steemit CCS.
See you tomorrow!!!
