The Fountain of Neptune - Bologna, Italy | Architectural Photography

Greetings CCS Community!

I have been posting a lot of buildings on this contest and decided to crack the ice a little bit showing you some variety. It’s a fountain of a god that’s the god of the sea. It’s not Poseidon, cuz Poseidon is the god of the sea in the greek religion, but in the Roman religion it’s called Neptune.

Anyway it’s a statue of him over a fountain in a city called Bologna in Italy. Yeah you could find a couple of fountains in different cities of him i guess, cuz there was a fountain like this just a lil bit different in Rome, but anyway Italians have a great architectural taste. Enjoy! 😄
