Greetings CCS Community!

Today the architectural photo of the day is the great Blue Mosque as some know it and some may know it as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

This magnificent mosque is one of the most famous landmarks in the city of Istanbul and it is also a symbol of the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. It is around almost 500 years old and it is a prime example of the Ottoman architecture.
