Architectural Photography - Week 33 - Breath of Gothic.
I have always been a supporter of the classical style in architecture and the spirit of the Gothic revival occupies a special place.
There is something special mesmerizing in these upward flowing lines that show us the way to heaven.
Columns pipes of an organ which, even when silent exudes a Bach fugue which should bring peace and reproach to the world through pointed windows with incredible stained glass windows which today they have already forgotten how to do.
In the old cathedral which is a slightly smaller twin of Notre Dame Cathedral a special breath of Gothic is felt.
I found myself there during renovations clouds of dust were flying around me but this did not stop me from feeling the special touch of that time.
This cathedral has survived different times and many authorities it was a Catholic church and a club for communists it was an organ hall and again as they say it is preparing to receive Catholic parishioners.
