I am here today for participating in the amazing contest which is organised by the @steemdoctor1 in Steem4bloggers community. The tittle of the contest is "Radiation and Me". So let's the topic without any more delay of time;
What do you know about Radiations? |

Radiation is the emission of energy in a form of particles or electromagnetic waves. There are two main types of radiation, 1. ionizing radiation and 2. non-ionizing radiation.Ionozing radiation has enough energy and it can be harmful to living organisms and includes like alpha and beta particles.
While non-ionizing type of radiation has lower energy .It is used in wireless communication devices like cell phones and Wi-Fi routers.Radiations are also emitted by technology devices like computers,laptops and mobile phone etc. These radiatoions also used for cooking and communications. The microwaves are also non-ionizing radiations.These radiations are also used in applications like remote controls and thermal imaging.
Give a few benefits of the radiations. |

Radiation has various benefits in different fields. Like in medicine, ionizing radiation is used for X-rays (diagnostic imaging) and in cancer treatment through radiation therapy. In agriculture field, radiations are used to sterilize food, preserving it for longer duration. Additionally, it is used innuclear power generation for producing electricity by nuclear reactions.
So these applications show positive impact of radiation in healthcare, food safety and energy production.
Harmful effects of radiations. |

Radiation exposure in a uncontrolled way can have harmful effects. Ionizing radiations such as X-rays and nuclear particles may damage DNA. It leads to cancer . Non-ionizing radiations, like UV rays, can cause skin cancer. Exposure of some forms of radiation for long time can result in radiation sickness and this cause of organ damage. Prolonged used of technology devices like computers, mobile phone cause the weakness of eyesight because these devices emitted harmful radiations
Do electronic devices emit radiation? |

Yes ofcourse, electronic devices like mobile phones, laptops and tablets emits non-ionizing electromagnetic radiations. However these radiations are considered less hatmful for human health. But it is wise to take precautions to avoid its harmful effects:
Precautions:
Maintain a safe distance: To avoid its harmful effects we should Keep devices at a distance from your body.
Use earphones: When we listen a call than a mobile emit more radiations that is why we should use earphones to reduce the direct contact with the device .
Limit screen time: We should use these devices for less time in regular intervals.
Choose low-radiation devices: Some devices emit less radiations than others; that's why we should select these devices for our daily use.

Nowadays the use of technology has increased. We should take some good precautions to avoid the harmful effects of these devices. It is proverb that Health is Wealth. Beside this we should avoid ourselves from direct sunlight or other harmful radiations.
