"National sport of your country"

Every countries in the world have a special sport activities they have in common, this sport activities have help a lot of people to enjoy their life to the fullest.

Sport bring unity and friendship among countries world wide, in fact sport is the kind of physical fitness that help our body to be active and young all day. So today I will like to discuss about National sport of my country and I hope every participants will share meaningful thought on this contest.

What is the national sport of your country?

In Nigeria, we have different sport activities such as football, basket, table tennis, etc. All these sport game have their own national body that controlled their affairs, for instance Nigeria football federation (NFF) only monitoring the Nigeria football activities.

Our main national sport in Nigeria is Football, football is a universal sport game in which every countries participate in order to strengthen our relationship and promote harmony between different countries. In Nigeria, we have both male and female football section, the official name for our male football players is called Super eagle and the female football players is called Super falcons.

Our players is the best both locally and internationally, most of them play in different league such as premier league, serial A, laliga etc. Recently FIFA ranked Nigeria female football players among top 10, this show how Nigeria players perform actively on the field.

I usually like to played football on every weekend when their is no work to do, in the morning I would wake up around 6:30am to joining my fellow footballers on the field. Indeed football is one of the physical fitness that help us to be healthy and strong.

Sometime, I played in the evening when I came back from work, that's around 4:30pm every players would be on the field and the supporters could also hail their favorite player.

I normally play a defense game in order to stop opposition team from scoring the goal, as a defender I work hard for my team not to loose to another team so I make everything possible to score or help my team to win.

Do your country won any World Cups related to this sport?

Nigeria senior team have never won any world cup before, so they always aim higher to reach the top but still they failed, they performed well in their last world cup which was organised in Russia (2018). Unfortunately they did not qualify for 2022 world cup organised in Qatar.

The Nigeria youngest team players known as Golden eaglets won under 17 FIFA world cup for 5 times, this show how Nigeria players have high spirit when it come to football.

These young star performed excellently when it come to the field, that's why most Nigerians rely on them whenever they have matches and most Nigerians use to closed their shop on time to enjoy their matches for pleasure

What is your favourite player in this sport?

Victor James Osimhen is my favorite Nigeria striker, in fact he scores 115 goals both in Nigeria and his club Napoli. He was fastest player I ever know and he does not like to miss his target goal, anytime he was on the field my mind will be at peace because he use to corporate with other team members.

Additionally, Victor Osimhen is love by all Nigerians because of his finishing, he like to shoot to the net whenever he has the opportunity, most of his shot are always enter the net. Victor Osimhen like to dribble defender of another team and if care is not taken such defender may have injury. He is a cool guy and he believe what he does, that's why I like him whenever he is on the pitch playing against opposition team. He is best Nigeria striker I ever seen with good performance, Nigeria Government honor him with the title member of the federal republic (MFR) because of his success in the football.

Conclusion

Football is a favorite sport love world wide, and each team or club have their own fans in which they usually like to watch their matches against their opponent. Some countries did not good in football but they based on other sport activities such as basketball, hockey, swimming etc. while other countries good in football countries like Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Italy etc. I will like to invite @ridwant, @goodybest and @solaymann to participate in this contest.
