SEC-S16-W2 | For the birds
At first I wondered, what the contest really entails, so I decided to read through it and I must say I played the short youtube clip till the end and I definitely got a moral lesson, I will first of all outline the reflection on this clip before delving into outlining the morals

This is my reflection on this clip. First let me start by illustrating the clip like I am telling a story.
The first bird landed successfully on the line of wires and was at peace, he felt excited and stretched its wings as a part of this early morning exercise.
The next bird landed and did the same without wishing to hurt anyone, the second failed to recognise the presence of the first, so when its wings touched the other, it didn't even wait to know what led to the hit, so they started quarreling.
This same incident continued with the last bird and they kept on quarreling with their partners until the emergence of a bigger bird. Who seems to quit the noise, she seeks to join them but decides to take permission, but then shifts at this point they become friends and start gossiping at the big bird, because they see him unfit to be among them, it could be because of his size, or not their breed etc.
So the big bird decided to make his move down to become part of them. So when he arrived at the middle weight brought them closer but they refused to let him remain, pushed him and he slipped but his hand still held the rope bringing them closer. So they decided to pull him down by all means, and after they pulled him down, since he was close to the gown he didn't get much hurt. The rope flinged them so high that they lost their wings.

MORALS DERIVED FROM THE CLIP |

This story has taught me a whole lot of morals.

Firstly, as people increase the problem increases; the noise on the pole increases concurrently with the noise.
Secondly, the people we assume to be repulsive can bring us closer and can bring unity amongst us.
Using the black and white race as a case study, This particular point talks about racism in my own reflection. The people we see as less important (the blacks) or can contribute less to the society can be of great help to us(the white) when accepted into our midst. The acceptance of the bigger bird brought about unity/closeness amongst the birds.
Thirdly, people tend to be united in the course of planning to bring another down, Similar interest brings unity.
Fourthly, what goes around comes around, the evil we plan to others will eventually reflect in us sooner than later, we can see this in the last part, where the smaller bird's feathers were stripped off as a result of their wickedness and they became ashame.
