A Father to Give Everything
MATTHEW 7: 9-11 Which of you, if your child asks for bread, gives him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, does he give him a snake?
For if you, even though you are bad, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! The wonder of knowing that we are children of God, created by him, in his image and likeness, devised by a perfect being who made us his children and has given us incredible things, loves us, and wants to have a relationship with us as our father It is a concept that we all like.
But we must believe him and his word, accept the sacrifice of Jesus to be partakers of that inheritance.
Many times we worry because it will be morning, why we will eat, what we will dress, the future overwhelms us, but if we take this promise, we make it ours, then we will live confidently as one who knows that he has a father who watches over his life.
It is not that God is at our feet to serve us, but that as a loving father, Ana his creation, his children, therefore he will always show us his love with good gifts.
In these verses of the book of Matthew, the love of God is compared with the love of parents, because on earth this is one of the most sincere expressions of love, and if we being evil we take care of our children, imagine what God He does by being perfect, good and loving. We live knowing that if we are children we will receive good things from our father, we respond to that love with obedience, and we trust that He will always take care of us.
Do not worry about tomorrow, or worry about what will happen, God is in control of everything and if you have given your life to Him, you can be calm and confident that He will always be acting knowing what is best for you. . Trust in the love of Your heavenly Father, who created you, shaped you, gave you life, and created a purpose for you.
