Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary On Homework Task Week 04 - Season 03

Crypto Academy Week 04 has come to an end and I am extremely happy to see the level of participation by students. As I mentioned earlier, season 04 has all the ingredients for all levels of students and it was an honor for me to teach the advanced course.

In 4th week, a total of 55 students have submitted homework tasks for grading. 54 tasks were complete while 01 task was not completed before the deadline which was not graded. I would like to appreciate all the students who put full effort into producing quality homework and tried to understand the course.

We have learned about the Trading Dynamic Support and Resistance Strategy and how to use it effectively. I have tried to keep it very simple while explaining so you can get hold of the strategy and apply it in your real trading as well. Trade entry and exit criteria were discussed separately to make things more clear. Examples from the crypto assets were shared so students can know how it looks like in the real market.

The homework assignment was made of the following questions that need answers.

1 - What do you understand about the Concept of Dynamic Support and Resistance? Give Chart Examples from Crypto Assets. (Clear Charts Needed)

2 - Make a combination of Two different EMAs other than 50 and 100 and show them on Crypto charts as Support and Resistance. (Clear Charts Needed)

3 - Explain Trade Entry and Exit Criteria for both Buy and Sell Positions using dynamic support and resistance on any Crypto Asset using any time frame of your choice (Clear Charts Needed)

4 - Place 2 demo trades on crypto assets using Dynamic Support and Resistance strategy. You can use lower timeframe for these demo trades (Clear Charts and Actual Trades Needed)

Areas for Improvement

It was great to see that students have shown great improvements from the previous week and understood the strategy and produced some great quality homework. I would like to mention few areas of improvement that were observed during the homework tasks checking.

  • The first point, I would like to mention is that EMAs work as dynamic support or resistance where price is clearly moving above or below the EMAs and then hit them on pullback. Some students have marked support and resistance level when price is crossing the EMA which is too early and wrong.

  • The other thing that needed improvement was trade entry. Some students have marked the entries very early while few others have marked the entries late. We should wait for price to make 1st retest to EMAs after it has clearly crossed them. We should be entering trades on 2nd retest if not get in trade on 1st retest. Similarly, we need price to cross the EMA and then wait for the retest instead of just entering on the crossover.

  • Practical approach has improved in many of the students but it is still missing in few of the tasks because students just marked the trades on the chart but did not place them in the market. You need to understand that placing the trades in the market is compulsory and you can do it on demo accounts of metatrader4 or you can also place trades with a minimum amount in your real accounts as well. The purpose of giving this question was to make sure that students learned the strategy and are able to place trades in market. We are looking to mentor you to be good in the market, not just for the sake of homework.

Results Statistics

I am sharing the week 04 results statistics where 54 students completed the tasks and submitted them for grading while 01 task was not graded because it was not completed before the deadline.

Homework Content Quality

I have categorized the grade marks to assign quality tags for homework tasks.

  • Excellent - Above 9 to 10 marks tasks were graded as Excellent
  • Good - Above 6.5 to 9 marks tasks were graded as Good
  • Average - Above 5 to 6.5 marks tasks were graded as Average
  • Below Average - Less than 5 marks tasks were graded as Below Average

I am very pleased to see that students have learned lesson from the previous week and put some great efforts this week which resulted in significant improvement in Excellent and Good tasks. The number of excellent tasks were 22 which acknoledges the hard effort put in by the students who understood the strategy and applied it effectively. The number of Good Tasks were 21 while average grades were given to 10 students who have also done a good job. The number of tasks graded below average was 01 and the reason was a lack of clear understanding of the strategy.

Homework Tasks Grading Score

Steemit Crypto Academy gives special importance to the quality of content and we want students to make genuine efforts in completing their homework tasks. Content quality does not mean the text but you should focus on making great quality and clear charts that will show your understanding of the strategy.

I am sharing the grade point score data given to students for week 04. The average score for this week task is 8.30 which shows significant improvement in understanding and quality of homework tasks produced by students.
