What do we expect from the competition?

• Explain the concept of the Sharkfin model. What is a Sharkfin pattern and how can it be identified on a price chart? Describe its main visual characteristics.

• Explain how the RSI (Relative Strength Index) indicator can be used to identify Sharkfin patterns. Give a real-world example of RSI metrics (like overbought and oversold levels) and explain how these metrics help spot Sharkfins.

• What are the trade entry criteria when using the Sharkfin model applied to the Steem token? Describe the specific signals you are looking for before entering a position, using example price setups and indicators.

• Describe the trade exit criteria for a Sharkfin model applied to the Steem token. What signals or conditions tell you it is time to exit a position?

• Show a detailed example of a transaction based on the Sharkfin model on the Steem token. Use real charts and historical data to illustrate your trade, including entry and exit points, and the reasoning behind each decision.

Contest Guidelines

• This Third week, will take place from July 29 to August 4, 2024.

• The article should be at minimum 500 words. You can write more. Your article must be free of any form of plagiarism.

• Your article title should be Mastering the Sharkfin Model for Trading. Add the tag #cryptoacademy-s19w4 and other relevant tags.

• Participants must be appropriately following #club5050 or #club75 or #club100.

• Participants must be verified and active users on the platform.

• The community moderators would leave quality assessments on your articles and probable upvotes.

• In addition, your article must get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments to count as valid in the contest, so ensure you interact with other users' entries. Do not be involved in vote-buying.

Rewards

• SC01 would be checking on the entire 7 participating communities and upvoting outstanding content. Upvote is not guaranteed for all articles. Kindly take note.

• At the end of the week, we would nominate top 3 users that had performed well in the contest and they would be eligible for votes from SC01/SC02.
