The Dream Steem: Redemption

Enchanted by the alluring pages of the book she so sort for. Each word trapping her in a mystery of complexing thoughts. Could the spell really be broken? Could she finally be normal? Was this the answer she so longed for?

Whether it was or wasn't, her entire consciousness was now drawn to her newest companion, flipping page after page but then, it suddenly struck her, the memory of how she got cursed.

The Story of Isabella Clark

Isabella existed in a time where a relationship between an earthly human and a heavenly being was strongly forbidden. This was a love that was not meant to exist but this didn't stop her at all.

The teachings of her father, the lord of the ancient clan had all fallen on deaf ears. A human and a demigod can never be, his words still echoed in her ears. He had warned her of what was to come but her heart made her blind to this truth.

The demigods were a nexus connecting the immortal gods of the heavenly realms and the earthly mortals. Due to this special relationship with the gods, the demigods were bound to a vow. A very ruthless one, to live their very long life alone, all by themselves.

She still recalled clearly the first time she saw lord Derek. A true and inhumanly perfect being unparalleled in both intelligence and skills even among his peers.

She had gone after him first, back then in her youth all wet behind the ears but then she never imagined that it was truly love. Her innocent heart couldn't think of anything of that such.

Though her cheeks always turned red, her heart raced faster and butterflies kept dancing in her tummy. She never thought it was anything other than happiness.

Derek was a ruthless warrior but when he loved he did with all his heart. He was willing to fight with the heavens and the earth for their love to stand but it wasn't to be.

Her family severed all ties with her and she was called a vixen, an abomination. The earth despised their love and the heavens cursed it.

Her beloved was sent to the world beneath to pay for his "sins". What sin? Of wanting a life? While she was cursed with immortality? Waking up to life everyday with this memory still afresh in her mind.

She spent all 1000 years of her life sorting for a solution. A way to save her beloved from the eternal punishment he was subjected to because of her and finally she found this book, The spells of the heavenly and the underworld.

She was so entranced in her own thoughts that she failed to realise that she was no longer in her room but somehow in a thicket or was it a forest? Probably the doing of the book?

"Forbidden yet always the sweetest, A curse broken must stand the test"

A trembling voice echoed in the woods

Bonded in heafty metal chains and groaning to the torment the underworld was way too popular for. Lord Derek had no memory of his beloved neither of the life he had before this everlasting lake of flaming hot coals.

He was already weak and wasted but still alive. Humans could die to end the pain but an immortal such as himself had no where to turn to.

"Forbidden yet always the sweetest, A curse broken must stand the test"

A voice jerked him back to consciousness

And this is where their journey begins again, after a 1000 years.
