The Power Of Kindness : An Antidote to Envy

Hello Dear Dreamers

An antiquated notion, a relic from the era of my secondary education, when I chanced upon a profound quote in a literary masterpiece.

"Agar Ap Kisi ko khushi nahi de saktey , to Us k Gham (Dukh) ki waja bhi na Bano."

This Urdu aphorism resonated deeply with my being, imparting the wisdom that 'if one is incapable of bestowing happiness upon another, then one should strive to avoid becoming the catalyst for their sorrow.' This sagacious utterance left an indelible mark on my heart, and since then, I have consecrated my existence to prioritizing the joy and felicity of others, elevating it to the pinnacle of my aspirations.

At the opposite Envy is a disease that affects a person's mind and harms them. Some people around us are afflicted with this disease, as they cannot progress in life themselves, but they burn with jealousy seeing others succeed.

On the other side Envy is a pernicious affliction that takes over an individual's mind, leading to their downfall. Unfortunately, sometimes people in our midst are plagued by this malady, which renders them incapable of achieving success themselves. Instead, they harbor resentment and bitterness, begrudging others' accomplishments and progress, their own insecurities and frustrations fueling their envy.

In my 40-year life journey, I've seen many people who can't tolerate others' happiness and success. They secretly suffer from jealousy, but outwardly show happiness. Then, they start plotting against those who have succeeded. Such people are often very close to us, like relatives, friends, or colleagues.

They are like snakes in the grass, whom we can't recognize until it's too late. They wear the mask of friendship and notice our weaknesses, only to strike at the right moment, leaving us irreparably harmed. I often wonder, what do they gain from this? Can they achieve happiness or success by causing pain or humiliation to others? No, never. They are just failed individuals who want to take revenge for their own failures by harming others.

Just think for a while ! If Are you, too, susceptible to this pernicious affliction, or are you immune to its perils?

If so, then we must endeavor to transform our mindset, albeit slightly, and revel in the joy and success of others. We must become beacons of support for those who strive tirelessly in pursuit of excellence. For in the midst of adversity, it is the tiny acts of kindness that conjure a smile on someone's countenance, yielding a sensation that is truly sublime and a treasure to behold.

Were we to embrace the joy of others as our paramount objective, the world would transform into a veritable paradise, filled with tranquility and bliss. Moreover, our eternal life would flourish, bathed in the radiance of divine joy, as we bask in the splendor of a life well-lived.

Stay safe, Happy, and Blessed!

With Love 💕

I think there is hardly any real immunity to this; we all have our weak moments and dissatisfactions. But: we can be aware of them and control them in a targeted way. To do this, we have a set of values within which we operate. Staying true to this seems to me to be the most important individual goal.

This is what I meant to say, that we can control our weaknesses if we are determined.

If I make a mistake, please ignore it and consider me a student. I am learning to express my thoughts in words. You all are like teachers 'Super Brains' to me
