I don't like this rain .. !

The climate of Sri Lanka is very unpredictable. We were facing an unbearable drought in last few months and I was happy when it started to rain. But it doesn't seem to stop .. lol. Anyway today is the last day of the long weekend and we didn't go out as our little one is not comfortable with this climate. This weather is forcing me to have a nap always and dull sky and the cool environment supports that.

Looks like I'm the only person who is not happy, but trees looks very fresh after the shower. Some of the areas in the island are already affected from the flood and government officials are working on supporting people.

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued an Amber Alert for flood warnings to several areas of Sri Lanka, effective for the next 24 hours, commencing at 11 am today. The DMC warned that there is a possibility of a minor or considerable flood situation in lowline areas of the Gin Ganga. Floods could occur in the Welivitiya, Divithura, Baddegama, Niyagama, Neluwa, Thawalama, Nagoda, Elpitiya and Bope – Poddala D/S Divisions, the DMC said. Residents and motorists in the said areas have been requested to remain vigilant in this regard. source

I wanted to have a walk in the morning. But changed the idea instantly after looking at the sky. Hope this rain will end soon. Now I miss the sun.
