디지털 아티스트 비플의 트위터 계정 해킹으로 피싱 피해 발생

유명 디지털 아티스트 비플(Beeple)의 트위터 계정이 해킹되어 피싱 웹사이트 링크를 게재하였습니다.

이 링크는 패션 브랜드인 루이비통과의 콜라보레이션을 다룬 가짜 웹사이트로 연결되었습니다. 이 사이트에서 지갑을 연결하면 민트가 시작되고 1 ETH를 전송합니다.
이 피싱에 당한 피해자들이 37 ETH 피해를 입은 것으로 알려졌습니다.

Digital artist Beeple is the latest target of an NFT phishing scam. Someone hacked the top-selling NFT artist’s Twitter account to post the link to a phishing website to steal funds. The link led to a fake website featuring a perpetrated collaboration with fashion brand, Louis Vuitton.

According to Harry, once someone connects their wallet to the website shared by Beeple, it will initiate the mint and send 1 ETH to the contract. Apparently, the website is not draining wallets, as is the usual case in similar NFT scams.
Unfortunately, several NFT collectors, who did not realise Beeple’s Twitter account was hacked, fell victim to the NFT phishing scam. Furthermore, the victims reportedly lost 35 ETH or about $71,000 (at the time of writing).
