indigenousnagaland #26 — Turning The Other Cheek? In War?

in #history6 years ago (edited)

The lives of the Indigenous have, to this day, remained cluttered with the surviving remnants of colonialism (AFSPA; Martial Law) and predatory politics of present neocolonialism. There’s a link between too much Clutter And Depression; you can’t indefinitely tolerate being swamped and overwhelmed beyond your capacity to cope; but the lives of the Indigenous have to be. A reckless comment of non-Indigenous (Brook Larmer, National Geographic; "The struggle has been fueled by a form of Christianity that does not turn the other cheek". He implicitly asserts Aryans' right to genocide non-Aryans for Aryans' nation-building) once suggested that the victims had to turn the other cheek in the face of genocide.

Who Are You?

India has got the opportunity to prove itself and has proven — that India is a bully. When the international community was fatigued by the World Wars, India has presented herself as a new, peaceful nation, while genociding the Indigenous behind the curtain. It's not funny that a Caucasian implied the Caucasoids could genocide the Mongoloid Indigenous, in the name of nation-building.

Only Who Has The Right For Self-defense?

Every race, every nation, every people or every individual needs to grow some teeth and not let yourself be bullied. The art of not being governed, of the Naga Indigenous, is an ally of the free world, democracy, liberty, and fraternity and an enemy of slavery of any form. If somebody says that you have no right to self-defense, the message meant that you have no right to equality.

What is 'Turning The Other Cheek'?

It is what the Western Society has excavated from the Bible — from the Sermon On The Mount, to be specific — and introduced into the international axioms.

To understand it correctly, it refers to the Christian act of following the moral law beyond the letter to the spirit of the law.

To turn the other cheek means, to incorporate mercy, sacrificial love, and longsuffering toward those who sin against us. To go the extra mile, so to speak.

What 'Turning The Other Cheek' does not mean

To turn the other cheek, does not mean we put ourselves or others in mortal danger, nor does it mean pacifism. Like the principle of the eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth (Matthew 5:38), turning the other cheek refers to personal retaliation, not criminal offenses or acts of military aggression.
