Laxmibai was born in Bhadani Salt Nagar in Varanasi district. His childhood name was Manikarnika, but he was called Manu. Manu's mother's name was Bhagirathibhai and father's name was Moropant Tambe. Manu's parents came from Maharashtra to Jhansi. When Manu was only four years old, his mother died.

Moropant was a Marathi and Maratha was in Bajirao's service. There was no one to take care of Manu after the death of Manu's mother, so Manu's father took him along with him to the court of Peshwa. Where Chanchal and Sundar Manu took everyone's heart. Manu had completed his primary education only in his childhood as well as Manu had also acquired arms training in his childhood.

In May 1842, at the age of 8, he was married to Maratha ruled king of Jhansi, Gangadhar Rao Nevala and he became queen of Jhansi. After marriage, his name was Lakshmibai.
In 1851, Rani Laxmibai gave birth to a son named Damodar Rao, but died at the age of four months. Later, Maharaja adopted a son. Who was the son of Gangadhar Rao's brother. Later, the adoption of the adopted son was changed to Damodar Rao before the Maharaja's death.

But the British Raj did not accept it, so he filed a lawsuit against Damodar. There was a debate on both sides in that suit but later it was dismissed.

The company government wanted to grab their state. Rani Lakshmibai, who took over the reigns of the day, continued to work for the welfare of the people, with great care. That's why he became the snobbish of his subjects. Thereafter the British authorities seized the treasury of the state and the order to cut their husband's debt from the Queen's annual expenditure was issued. As a result, the queen had to leave the fort of Jhansi and go to the Queen Mahal of Jhansi.

In March 1854, when Rani Lakshmibai left the fort of Jhansi, he ordered Rs 60000 and Rs 5000 annually. But Rani Laxmibai did not give up and she decided to protect Jhansi state in every situation. The British officers used to call them mostly as queen of Jhansi.

Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi

Rani Lakshmibai was a master at horse riding. He also had joker horses from his own, including his favorite Sarangi, Pawan and Badal. According to tradition and history, Badal had played an important role during the time of escaping from the fort during 1858. Later the Rani Mahal, in which Rani Lakshmibai lived, turned into a museum. In which the 9 to 12th century old archaeological things are included.

According to his biography, it was claimed that Damodar Rao was one in his army. And he fought the war of Gwalior. In the battle of Gwalior, he fought with bravery all his soldiers. In which the joint forces of Tata Tope and Rani captured a fort of Gwalior with the help of the rebel soldiers of Gwalior.

On 17 June 1858, Queen Laxmibai fought the British army in Kota's inn near Gwalior and received Veergati.

The queen of Jhansi, who honored Indian Vasundhara was an ideal heroine. The true hero never fears objection. His goal is always generous and high. He is always self-confident, self-respecting and credulous. And such was the queen of Jhansi, who was Lakshmibai.

For such a heroine we find the following line decorating. -

The throne rose, the dynasties were inclined to prosper.
Old India also came in India, it was new youth again.
The cost of lost freedom, everyone knew.
To do away with firing, everything was in the mind.
Glow rose in the sun power, that sword was old.
The story of Bundale Harabol, we heard the story.
He was a queen of mice, she was the Queen of Jhansi !!
