Brunswick Terrace Up Close And Personal
Brunswick Terrace, Hove
Welcome Back to Brunswick Terrace.
I've introduced you to Brunswick Terrace in an earlier post but this is a close up of just a few of the buildings. You have also been introduced to Brunswick Square and Adelaide Crescent. You can find some of the history of the area in these previous posts.
There are a number of Brunswicks in Hove, the terrace and Square as mentioned above, and also Brunswick Road, Brunswick Street and Brunswick Place. In fact, the whole area is often called Brunswick Town and is best known for the Regency architecture of the Brunswick estate.
The extreme eastern edge of Brunswick Terrace, which you can see in this photograph, marks what used to be the border of Hove and Brighton before it became one city.
