Well hello there again Steemit world! My partner @silasdavid and I are back with another awesome #hiking #adventure to share with you!!! This particular adventure was up at Ellison Provincial Park, just before the snow started to fly in November this year! The weather here in the Okanagan was oddly warm for this time of year. It was about +5c out, instead of the usual -5 with snow and or ice! So we obviously took advantage of that! So if you'd like to... pull up a stump and join us again for another stroll!
The park provides you with quite a large area to explore, including lots of connecting #mountainbiking trails with all the different difficulties. There are marker maps all throughout the park as well. On this particular day the parking lot was full! It seemed everyone had the same idea to take advantage of the warm weather. It was so warm
I didn't need my jacket on. Everything smelled so fresh and the air was a little crisp so it was especially good for the senses!! What better place to become more aware of our own senses, than in nature.

In this area of the park we found these awesome stumps. Some with tiny little mushrooms growing on them... They were such a beautiful shade of green, blended with all the other contrast colours. Kinda looked fuzzy like a shag carpet from afar.

A little farther down the trail we arrived at an old abandoned car from what I would guess would be the 50's or 60's. Its got names and initials and hearts with love confessions all over it! Quite an epic site to be seen.

This area in the park we decided to take a few macro photography pics. There was quite a bit of condensation on the surrounding vegetation. There was this big beautiful tree that was covered in sap that was dripping down. It looks particularly good with the light from the sun hitting it. As you can see... I decided to go with a "sappy" pic after the "sappy" love stuff written above.

Every morning before we go on our epic adventures together we eat a super healthy breakfast! Which is the most imprortant meal of the day! So heres a little reminder from our home to yours... Remember to eat smart before you depart! ;)
After our hike we make a delicious and nutritious dinner. We made portabello stuffed mushrooms with salmon steaks!! Mmmm. Yup. Thats me in a purple Unicorn onesie.

Fantastic. Not done that trail yet. As for breakfast Dr. Lamb would not agree mostly because of when and what we eat brack-fast light and fruity, lunch the big meal. Supper more like our current habit of lunch.
