Turkish rapper, songwriter.
He has been arrested for making songs about drugs. Before that, he was not that famous. Twitter and other social media platforms went to hell... Tags about him and all the hate, love fused with hate and people who have never listened to him started to support him.
It is not important for you to listen someone's music to support them in this situation, some of the Turkish people just supported them because they hate government. Some of them supported because they love rap. They did not even know and did not even listen to one of his songs.
He sings about drugs. I do not like Turkish rap and I do not like drugs. I have never listened him before.
But the important thing is you should not put someone in the jail because of their songs.
What will happen next? You will take every metal band to the jail? Just because some of the words are conflicts with your religion?
His real name is Sercan İpekçioğlu I believe. His case is an example for everyone in Turkey. You should not write songs about this stuff... There is no freedom of speech as it seems. And he is free now.
If he is guilty why he is free? If he is not, why did you arrest him in the first place?
The thing that I hate about it is that, his followers. They actually do drugs. Not all of them. But some of them. I saw some videos on twitter, they shared themselves with the tag and doing drugs... So... Why don't you arrest them and test their blood? Ask the dealer and resolve this problem?

I think they believe he is promoting drug influence and consumption in Turkey which got him arrested. But the fact is he shouldn't be released easily has he is expected to face his punishment for his actions. I agree with you about "not getting him arrested because of his music" but the fact is people listen to music day by day and this may promote more influence in drug abuse because most people of nowadays now imitate what they see in social media. The media has influenced majority of people around the world most especially the kids. I believe we should stay away from things that are illegal which causes more damages to the society and the youth because these two factors make up the world. Once these two factors are very demure, the world maybe at peace.

Yeah... That's another thing. I guess they wana make some profit in such attitude because I wonder why he was released easily.
I think it's more important to overcome the drug supply problem than dealing with musical influence on youngsters by taking necessary precautions on the field.
Trouble shooting is a massive approach that requires robust actions more than prohibitions especially in such complicated issues.
