The wise advice of a man in times of opposition

"And then he said: Israeli men, look for yourselves what you are going to do about these men, because before these days they woke up, saying that it was somebody, to this a number of four hundred men joined, but he was killed, and all who obeyed were scattered and reduced to nothing ... and now I say to you, depart from these men, and leave them: for if this counsel or this work belongs to men, it will vanish, but if it is of God, it will not. you can destroy, you may not be found fighting against God "

In this passage I want to treat the wise answer or rather the wise advice of a teacher of the law called Gamaliel. but first I want to tell a little about who this man was
Gamaliel, as the story points out, was Pablo's teacher, and Pablo was a man of vast and extensive knowledge, since he came from the best school of the moment, he was a famous Pharisee, doctor of the law and member of the Sanhedrin.
For his remarkable wisdom and tolerance, he was considered one of the most notable Pharisees, he was the first to bear the title of "Rabban" (which means our teacher) instead of "Rabi" (which means my teacher)
The apostle Paul considered it a great honor to have been one of his disciples
Some commentators say that with Gamaliel's death "the glory of the law ceased and purity and abstinence died together with him"

This being said, it is important to highlight one of the wisest advice recorded in the book of events, where pedagogically instructed by God Gamaliel gives advice to the Sanhedrin certainly influenced by divine providence, the most subtle message of Luke is that even the Higher level leaders within the Jewish community had to admit that they did not have valid reasons to oppose the Christian church.

Luke highlights the fury the Pharisees had about the apostles and the desire to kill them to abort the God-directed work of preaching the word and spreading the gospel wherever they went.

It is known that history and daily reality teach us that when men have God's plans and have calls to carry the message of salvation there will always be opposition, but also God will raise and use whoever it is to prevent God's work from stop, and in this case God raises a man with a wise and reasonable advice.

Gamaliel, did not see Jesus as messiah, but his advice to the Sanhedrin was certainly influenced by divine providence, the most subtle message of Luke is that even the leaders of the highest level within the Jewish community had to admit that they did not have reasons valid to oppose the Christian church

Reflection

A human work can easily dissolve, even when men can unite to make it concrete and bring it to an end, an example of this can be read in the genesis where the story of the Tower of Babel is told, where the pride and arrogance of man is related, and of an angry God that allows the diffusion of languages and in the middle of a sea of confusion aborted the great tower and was reduced to nothing
But when the project or the work goes hand in hand with God no man can face
