Day 5 of this Juice Fast -- the use of enemas ("baptisms")

in #health7 years ago (edited)

Day 5

My cooked food cravings have jumped down considerably. I am not waking up easily, and I still feel lethargic. A little worse today. Therefore...

It's time for an enema.

An enema is basically pouring a liquid into your colon, letting it sit there for a little bit of time, and then allowing that liquid to come back out. In ancient Rome days, enemas were referred to as "baptisms" (cleaning oneself). The Essene Gospel of Peace (Book 1) references the need to baptize oneself within and without on every day of your fasting. This is the equivalent of having an enema ("baptizing within") and a shower...or a dive into the lake/river ("baptizing without").

While detoxing and cleaning out your system, such as during the times of a Solid Food Break ("vacation"), toxic elements can be broken apart and re-released into your gut. This gets re-absorbed into your blood, which can bring discomfort, friction, and overall difficult processing for your organs.

Preparing the Enema

  1. Use a knife to peel the rind from a lemon.
  2. Cut the lemon into 1-2 millimeter thick slices.
  3. Put the lemon slices into about 3 cups of fluoride-free water--I used the Smart brand of water. The fruit will "buffer" the water. In other words, instead of the water taking potentially beneficial elements (such as living enzymes) from you, the water will take the beneficial elements from the fresh fruit.
  4. Let the water sit while you open and setup the enema bag.
  5. Get some coconut oil on the edge of the enema line. The part that will go into your hinderparts...
  6. Pour the water into the enema bag.
  7. Use the enema! Sit back and enjoy :) For more information on using enemas, search google :D

And then onto lunch...

Lunch: half a gallon of OJ!

Remember: half of a gallon is 64 oz. The goal is to have about 1 gallon (128 oz) of juice per day. Half of a gallon of OJ is seriously a full meal! And it is soooo convenient. Some notes:

  • Get un-pasteurized juice. The cooked, or pasteurized, stuff is missing everything that makes the juice awesome. And after cooking, it is no-longer whole. After cooking, the juice then lacks the quality of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and many proteins and sugars have bound together and become complex and hardly available for the body.
  • No, this is not "too much" sugar. You're a carbon-based life form...it is the whole form of exactly what you need!
  • Calories: about 900.
  • Total Carbs: 208g
  • Protein: 16g -- a complete source of protein! You get all of your essential and conditional amino acids.

1 gallon of fresh-squeezed orange juice basically has everything you need for an entire day!! How cool is that? :) Much more than enough protein for the day!

Thank you! :)
