How to Get Rid of Canker Sores & Cold Sores
Many people suffer from canker sores and cold sores. They are very common and definitely annoying!! Over-the-counter medications are expensive and they don't work well at all. But there is an age old remedy that really does work! And its cheap!!
Alum is something that is used for canning pickles. It draws the moisture out and keeps the pickles crisp and delicious. Alum is sold at most grocery stores and costs about $2.00. (One container will last you forever!)
As soon as you notice the sore or feel like you are about to get one, just dab some alum powder on the affected area. You may want to repeat this a few times throughout the day.
If you already have a sore it still works. It will stop it from getting worse and heal it quickly.
