New study claims as two Sausage per week can develop Breast cancer

Hope you are getting and taking some of the processed meats from the market. Currently, a group of researchers has gone through theses processed meats and found the evidence of the harms of it , with the linking consumption of processed meats to increased risk for the breast cancer.

Some analysis was done and about the range of 260,000 women , researchers found the risk for the breast cancer, which increases for more that fifth for those who consumed more that 9 grams of the processed meats per day. This is nearly equivalent to about two(2) sausages per week. 

After these survey was taken, the team of researchers didn't found any of the link between the processed meat linking with the increased breast cancer. Theses findings are listed on the European Journal of Cancer by PRof. Jill Pell.

So, what is processed meat ? 

Processed meats are the ones that has been gone through some modification changes to enhance their flavor and increase their life. Foods like Sausages, Bacon, Hot dogs, Salami are just few examples of the processed meats.

Since these kind of food may increases or excite the sense or desire of taste buds, they do just a little for our heath. In about 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed that these processed meats increases the risk for colorectal cancer, while the red meats are considered to produce carcinogens for the human. This conclusion were mentioned and reviewed in more than 800 studies till now.

Researcher included some data on 262,000 women aged from 40 to 69 years. Prof. Pell and his team uses this data and calculated some women's intake of processed and red meat, and their breast cancer risk was identified through the cancer data registry and hospital data. Around 4,819 womens were diagnosed with the breast cancer over 7 years of follow-up cases. 

Risk to the breast cancer increased by about 21 percent to the women who takes about 9 grams of processed meat than the women who consumes the lowest intake of processed meat. As far as compared to red meat, there was no association in eating the red meat such as veal and beef to the risk of breast cancer. 

According to the researcher, they combined the result they got from previous 10 studies and looked back to the intake of the red meat cases study and link with the breast cancer which enabled them to assess the link in about 1.65 million other women in the world. 

This survey revealed about a 9 percent increase in the risk for postmenopausal breast cancer with the intake of processed meat and again, there was no associated link between the intake of red meat and the risk for breast cancer issue. These findings just remained as still even after survey through the other dietary factors, weight and lifestyles. After this survery, Naveed Sattar who is a worker in the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences at the University of Glasgow says : 

Even after some additional previously known effects of these processed meats on the increased risk of other kind of cancers, this survey adds further evidences on the increasingly effect in the breast cancer which mainly occurs in the post-menopausal women. 

Further investigation are more to carry out and confirm further results .
