Santan (Ixora coccinea) is a good luck plant which normally planted near the entrance of one’s house. Flowers are also offered to young maidens which symbolizes the burning passion for their career and love. But aside from the beauty served for the eyes, it also offers a health benefit.
Decoction of santan flower is used to treat:
- Hypertension
- Irregular menstruation
- Female reproduction organ infections
