Chiropractic can be simply defined as healthcare profession that uses drug-free and surgery-free methods to diagnose and treat neuromuscular stresses through manipulation and/or adjustment of the spine. Chiropractic care relieves people from stresses and pains.

A chiropractor is related to healthcare; performs chiropractic sessions. The first chiropractic session was by D.D. Palmer on 18th of September 1895.

A chiropractor does not only treat, he/she lectures and counsels their patients on a healthy lifestyle, physical therapy and good exercise. The basic conditions they treat are neck pain, spine strain, migraine/headache, lower back pain and scoliosis. They also help in the recovery of accident victims.

Stress

Stress causes tension to build up which finds a way to take up physical space along your spine. Stress can be caused by amnesia, hunger/thirst, hectic work schedule, change of environment, war, loud noise, anxiety or sickness. Stress can either cause a positive reaction which makes some people to work harder on a task/job or negative reaction by accumulative effect on the body. It can simply be said that stress is bad for the mind and body of an individual.

There are cases of chronic stress which may be caused by chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, stroke, migraine and health-related diseases. Sometimes it is caused by pain. There have been instances of chronic stress leading to premature death which means, it must be reduced or eased totally. Schedule a chiropractic session today for a healthier lifestyle.

How Chiropractors Reduce Stress:

Spinal Subluxations is shifting of the spine out of order which leads to nausea, migraine and anxiety. A chiropractor conducts spinal adjustments which calms your spine thereby improving nerve function and removing the tension (which is caused by stress). They work with a patient base on medical history.

Chiropractors operate in a soothing and serene environment so patients can be relaxed during therapy or counselling sessions. They set the atmosphere in a way the body can easily be worked on. Sometimes they play patients’ favorite music just to set the atmosphere right or ask patient to sit in a comfortable posture.

Most people eat heavily thinking it would reduce stress but it does not. Imbalanced diet stresses you more. A chiropractor counsels on good nutrition. Good nutrition includes eating balanced diet and taking the right food supplement the body needs. A good counselling on nutrition is part of a successful session. Good nutrition definitely makes you healthier.

A chiropractor helps his/her patients to work on his/her postures. Sitting, standing or walking postures. A wrong sitting posture can lead to tension around the neck and the spine. This leads to severe lower back pain and neck stiffness. No matter the position you are, your body must be well relaxed. A good session let you understand the right ways to keep the body relaxed.

In conclusion, it is obvious that stress is inevitable in our lives thereby we must find a way to reduce it. We should visit a chiropractor twice or thrice in a week. A good session should reduce stress and the counselling part on nutrition must be taken serious. A good therapy and nutrition will reduce stress and
make us healthier.
