Aloe Vera ferment.
This is our Aloe Vera ferment aka fermented plant juice. I used aloe from our backyard of course harvested before sunrise for max microbe activity. Then chopped and mixed with equal weights sugar for 5-7 days. This is our finished product. It smells and tastes sweet! However, more often than not I find that people think it tastes like medicine but in a bad way. Usually within an hour of ingesting you can smell it seeping out your pores much like garlic would. I tell people if it tastes bad to you dont take it! This ferment does wonders for people with Crohn's disease and severe bile/ gastro problems. The other night I had heartburn, I put 10mls in a 8oz glass of water and nearly instantly it vanished! This ferment intially was being created around here for our plants but have found it being more of a staple in our diet!
This study on aloe fermentation always intrigues me!
