Half Marathon Countdown: 61 Days

Today's workout was an HIIT running workout consisting of the following:

  1. 0.5 Mile Warmup @ 5.3 mph
  2. 2x1 Mile @ 6.3 mph (0.25 mile walk recovery in between)
  3. 2x0.5 Mile @ 6.6 mph (0.10 mile walk recovery in between)
  4. 0.5 Mile Cooldown @ 5.3 mph

For a total of 4.7 miles at an 11:02 pace. It was a pretty intense run as the gym that my girlfriend and I visit was at least 80 degrees and very muggy today but that only makes the conditioning better for when conditions are better!
