Sprinkle with greens EVERYTHING!

It does not matter if it's green parsley, dill, basil, mint or chives. Even a small addition of these fresh products to the dish significantly increases its nutritional value. For example, parsley is an excellent source of vitamin C, iron, calcium, folic acid. Mint contains a lot of calcium, iron and potassium. The greens are additionally very low in calories. They are suitable for almost every dish, are great for soups, pasta, sprinkling risotto, potatoes, various pastes, sandwiches, green cocktails, sauces, cottage cheese... There are so many possibilities! Certainly, you will find a way to incorporate these additives into your menu. Remember to always have a bunch of parsley in your home or some herbs in a pot.

Often, when consulting patients and analyzing their current nutrition, it turns out that the amount of green leaves in their diet is limited to light sprinkling chicken broth with a parsley on Sunday. When I ask patients whether they like dill, green parsley or chives, the answer often sounds YES! Most of us love these products, realize their beneficial health properties, but hardly anyone eats at least a few green leaves every day. Often this is due to the lack of time, but what really is a few seconds spent cutting the leaves and sprinkling them in exchange for good health and a strong organism?

For my part, I can add that when arranging menus for patients, when the amount of calcium or iron is not enough, the addition of a few grams of green parsley always does the trick and allows the proper balance of the menu :)

If you do not have the habit of adding greens to sandwiches, soups, sprinkling all the dishes, try to change it! Your dishes will gain a lot of taste, and the body will have many vitamins and minerals for which it will certainly be grateful.
