4 “healthy” foods you should consider questioning before eating
These days, due to the internet or massive advertisements which claims to be healthy, the majority of people incline towards a specific food without knowing whether it's actually healthy. They consume unhealthy food that harms them rather than helping. Don’t fall into that category and know explicitly before buying or having any type of food. Here are top 4 list of unhealthy foods as far as I am concerned that claim to be healthy.
Granola bars
Those yummy granola bras are many of us favourite as a breakfast or as a snack. It supposed to be healthy, but due to the mixture of sugar and butter in it, you may probably consider changing your snack because you eat so many calories each time you consume a bar. Rather try home granola bars with your favourite ingredients with no artificial sugar, or why don’t you grab a handful of nuts whenever you are hungry.
Fruit Juice
You might be wondering, juice is a great way to consume in order to get vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, but when I meant fruits juice here, I mean “factory made fruit juice”. They are equally dangerous to soda. Since they don’t give you a filling feeling even after drinking a lot of juice and pumps yours insulin’s levels, you must avoid them. Moreover, they contain an abundance of sugar. So, never buy any fruit juice from any store. Be healthy by having homemade fruit juice without sugar.
In June 2014, a study published in the journal Nutrition found that the average fruit juice’s fructose concentration is 45.5 grams per liter. For soda, it’s 50 grams. Our bodies aren’t designed to deal with that type of fructose overload. While glucose serves as a fuel for our body, fructose is processed almost exclusively in the liver, where it’s converted to fat.

Diet Soda
It is the worst decision you ever made when you chose diet soda to a regular one. This doesn’t mean regular one is healthy, but it's relatively less harmful. They contain artificial food colourings, flavours, and additives. They also contain aspartame sweeteners that can harm your heart and increase the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Margarine
As an alternative to butter, this item came into the picture as a healthy option which turned out to be unhealthy. Since people think it is lower in saturated fats than butter and helps in heart health, they switched to margarine years ago.
trans fats were the original fats used in margarine. This is tragic, given that today, we now know trans fats are responsible for about 50,000 fatal heart attacks a year. Trans fat also increases someone’s risk of developing type II diabetes and several other severe health problems.

Therefore, trans fats have been replaced with most contain industrial, highly processed fats.
We all want to be healthy. Don’t get affected by the advertisements on healthy food. They claim that those are healthy, and we unknowingly give them to the whole family including kids, which results in catastrophic diseases including obesity and stroke. I believe the more you eat at home the more you be healthy.

Thanks for the heads up!
It's crazy how much sugar there is for instance in granola bars, which are advertised as a "healthy option". People are tricked to think they're eating healthy, but in reality, that's far from the truth...
About margarine, nowadays there are a more and more options without trans fats, so I wouldn't say margarine is that bad in general. However, I only know this for Finland, I don't know if there still are high amounts of trans fat used in margarine in other countries.
Great article! :)
