Hey! Have Ya Met... November 17, 2018
Often we get stuck in a rut and tend to only look at what is in our feed; this causes us to miss some amazing posts. What's even worse, we miss those introduction posts of new people who are not getting a good number of upvotes. We decided, because we have felt the frustration of low votes on our introduction, we were going to introduce two people we thought were deserving of your attention. This will be a daily project so keep watching and see who's out there!
Because I tend to do this to some type of music, I wanted to share what I was listening to today as I perused the #introduceyourself section of our community.

@earthkind shared a video with us as his introduction. He starts out with lots of energy by giving us a taste of his video artistry. Continuing that energy, he shared his insecurities of making the video and what his future plans were. I found him to be very engaging and adorable!

I found Mike to be very interesting with his versatility of music interests. He has been a music professor, conductor for 3 orchestras, and is in a rock band. I know this might be the norm for you music focused people, but that just blew my mind.

Pablo, an author and graphic designer in Panama, has been trying to find his way over the past couple of posts and has started figuring out that he wants to be a part of our SteemIt community. Being a person who speaks two languages, he is trying to figure out who to get his posts out to us all in the most efficient way. He is hoping to bring critical thinking to us through his posts so that we look at the world from all sides, not just in one way. I look forward to seeing what he brings to the blockchain.

Thank you so much for joining Scott and me in this endeavor. We wanted to do our part in helping new people get their introductions noticed. There really isn't a criteria at this point; we are, however, looking for those who seem to be trying to have good content, but have low upvotes and low payout. We understand how they must be feeling because our introduction post was not received well at all with only 12 upvotes and $0.10 in payout. Both Scott and I were very frustrated because we knew we had a very good quality post with little reaction while other "trending" introductions were a poor quality photo and little verbiage. We were so discouraged and heartbroken; this should not happen to anyone. Therefore, we are on the lookout for these people and will do our best to bring them to your attention.

Thank you for introducing us to some awesome people. We do quite often, miss out on checking out the new people. We were all there once. We should greet at least a couple in our day and give them a boost up :)

Wow great engagement . I always make a commitment to stop by the intro section at least once a week. It hekps the follower count also so its a win win.
That is such a great thing! I try to remember what it was like when we first started and do what I wish would have been done for us. Luckily, we had some great people who found us within a couple of posts. I try to be that for as many new people as possible.
